Privacy Policy for Frame Makerzzz Media Pvt. Ltd.
Effective date: 3 November 2026
1. Who we are
This website, framemakerzzz.com, is run by Frame Makerzzz Media Pvt. Ltd., a company registered in India, with its studio at 1st Floor, Off No. 007, NG Estate, A-1, Mira Bhayandar Rd, Mumbai. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Frame Makerzzz Media Pvt. Ltd. "You" means anyone who visits the website, asks us for a quote, uses our planner or calculators, downloads a free resource, applies for a job or otherwise contacts us.
For the personal data described in this policy, we decide why and how it is used, so we are the "Data Fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the "controller" under the UK and EU GDPR where those laws apply to you.
2. What this policy covers
It explains what personal data we collect through the website and our business communication tools, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, how we protect it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the website, the pricing planner, the video ROI calculator, the free resources library, the careers page, the contact and quote forms, bookings made through our calendar, and our emails, calls and WhatsApp conversations with you.
It does not cover other websites that we link to, such as YouTube, Google Maps, Instagram or Facebook. Those are run by other organisations with their own policies.
3. Laws we follow
We handle personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, we also follow the UK GDPR or the EU GDPR as they apply to our dealings with you.
4. The personal data we collect
We collect only what we need for the purpose in front of you. It comes in three ways: you give it to us, it is created when you use the website, or it comes from a service you use to reach us.
Data you give us
- Contact form, quote pop-up and enquiries: your name, work email, phone number, company, the kind of video you want, your message, and the page you were on.
- Pricing planner: the choices you make (video type, length, style, options, language, timeline), the estimate shown, and, if you ask us to send or confirm a proposal, your name, work email, phone number and company. The planner also records which price rows you selected, so that we can send you the same estimate you saw.
- Video ROI calculator: the business figures you type in (for example deal value, number of demos or website visitors). They stay in your browser unless you press "Email me this estimate", when we also receive your name, work email, and optional company and phone number, and we use the figures to build your PDF.
- Free resources: your name, work email, company and the resource you asked for.
- Careers page: your name, email, phone number, role you are applying for, your CV as a PDF, links to your portfolio or showreel, and any details you choose to add such as notice period and current location.
- Booking a call: your name, email, phone number, the time you pick and any answers you give on the booking form (this is handled by Calendly, see below).
- Calls, emails and WhatsApp: your contact details and whatever you tell us in the conversation.
- Tips and follow-up emails: your name and email, if you tick the box asking us to send you tips.
Data collected when you use the website
- Your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, screen size, language and the pages you visit.
- How you arrived (for example a Google search or an advertisement) and how long you stayed.
- Clicks, scrolls and form interactions, but only if you accept analytics cookies (see "Cookies and similar technologies").
- Basic security and error logs kept by our hosting provider.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for payment card details, bank logins, Aadhaar or other government ID numbers, health information or biometric data through this website. Please do not put such details in a form or a message to us. If you send documents for a project, such as scripts or product files, please send only what is needed.
5. Why we use your data, and our legal basis
We use your data for the purposes below. Where the DPDP Act applies, we rely on your consent or on the "legitimate uses" it allows. Where the UK or EU GDPR applies, the legal basis is shown in brackets.
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote or proposal (consent, and steps taken at your request before a contract).
- To deliver a project you have hired us for, including invoicing and support (performing a contract).
- To send you the planner estimate, ROI PDF or resource you asked for (consent).
- To send tips and useful guides by email, only if you tick the box (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To assess job applications (consent, and steps taken at your request).
- To run, secure and improve the website, find faults and prevent misuse (legitimate interests).
- To understand how visitors use the site and to measure our advertising, only after you accept analytics and advertising cookies (consent).
- To meet legal duties, such as tax, accounting and replying to lawful requests (legal obligation).
We do not use your data to make decisions about you by automated means that have legal effects, and we do not sell your personal data.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
When you first visit, we ask you to choose "Accept all" or "Essential only". The choice is stored on your device and you can change it at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer.
- Essential: small items the site needs to work, such as remembering your cookie choice and protecting forms from abuse. They are always on.
- Analytics and advertising (only after "Accept all"): Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads, Meta Pixel, and Microsoft Clarity. They tell us which pages are read, how people move through the site, and whether our adverts bring useful visits. Clarity may record anonymised sessions and clicks to help us find confusing parts of a page. Form fields that hold personal details are masked.
- Embedded content: YouTube videos load from YouTube's privacy-enhanced address and Google Maps loads on the contact page. These providers may set their own cookies when you press play or interact with the map.
If you choose "Essential only", the analytics and advertising tools above do not load. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may then work less well.
7. Who we share your data with
We share data only with the service providers who help us run the business, and only what each one needs. They act on our instructions or under their own terms, as stated.
- Hostinger, which hosts the website and its logs.
- Microsoft 365, which delivers our email and stores the register of enquiries in Excel.
- Odoo, our CRM and email-marketing system, which stores leads and the tips mailing list.
- Calendly, which handles call bookings.
- Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads, YouTube, Maps), Meta (Pixel) and Microsoft (Clarity), for the analytics and advertising described above, only if you accept those cookies.
- Professional advisers and authorities, such as our accountants, auditors and lawyers, or a court, regulator or law enforcement body where the law requires it.
- A buyer or successor, if the business is ever sold or merged, on terms that protect your data.
Freelancers who work on a project, such as voice artists or animators, receive project files and the minimum contact details needed, under written confidentiality terms.
8. Transfers outside India
Some of the providers above store or process data on servers outside India, including in the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United States. When we use them, we do so as the law permits, and we choose providers that publish security and privacy commitments for the services we use. If you are in the UK or EEA and a transfer needs extra safeguards, we use the approved contract terms that apply.
9. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only as long as the purpose needs, then delete or anonymise it. Our normal periods are:
- Enquiries and quotes that do not become projects: up to 3 years after our last contact.
- Client project records, contracts and invoices: as long as tax and company law require, usually 8 years.
- Planner, ROI calculator and resource requests: up to 2 years after the request.
- Job applications: up to 12 months after the role is filled, or sooner if you ask. With your permission we may keep a CV longer for future roles.
- Tips mailing list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
- Analytics data: as set in the analytics tool, normally up to 14 months.
- Website server logs: up to 90 days.
If a legal claim or investigation is possible, we may keep relevant records for longer.
10. How we protect your data
We use reasonable security measures that suit the data we hold: encrypted connections (HTTPS) on the whole site, limits on how often forms can be submitted, checks against automated abuse, access to records only for staff who need them, sign-in controls on our systems, and backups. No system is perfectly secure, so if a personal data breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India or other regulators as the law requires.
11. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you have the right to:
- know what personal data of yours we process and why;
- ask us to correct or complete data that is wrong or out of date;
- ask us to erase data we no longer need;
- withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect what we did before you withdrew it);
- have your grievance heard and resolved; and
- nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or cannot act.
If the UK or EU GDPR applies to you, you also have the right to access a copy of your data, ask us to restrict or stop using it, object to our legitimate-interest uses, receive your data in a portable format, and complain to your local data protection authority.
To use any of these rights, email info@framemakerzzz.com with the subject line "Privacy request". We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act. We aim to reply within 30 days.
12. Marketing emails
We send marketing emails only to people who ticked the box to receive them, and to existing clients about similar services where the law allows. Every email has an unsubscribe link. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a suppression list so that we do not mail you again by mistake.
13. Children
Our website and services are for businesses and are not aimed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.
14. Links to other websites
The website links to other sites, including our YouTube channel and social media pages, client sites and tools. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please read their policies before you share personal data with them.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The "Effective date" at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will put a notice on the website, and where the law requires it, ask for your consent again.
16. Grievance Officer and contact
